Global rubber demand in 2017 will continue to increase slightly

According to IRSG (International Rubber Research Organization) published data, global rubber demand in 2017 will continue to increase slightly.

Gamma PGA

2016 global consumption of natural rubber reached 12.5 million tons, a growth rate of 3%, 2017 global natural rubber consumption is expected to 12.87 million tons, the growth rate of about 2.9%.

Gamma PGA 30% agricultural grade

2016 global synthetic rubber consumption reached 14.628 million tons, the growth rate of about 0.5%; 2017 global synthetic rubber consumption is expected to 15.17 million tons, the growth rate of about 3.8%

Gamma PGA 30% agriculture grade

2016 global natural rubber production is about 12.295 million tons, the growth rate of about 0.2% is expected in 2017 global natural rubber production is about 13 million tons, an increase of about 5.7%.

Gamma PGA 30% fertiliser grade

2016 global synthetic rubber production is about 14.563 million tons, the growth rate of about 0.6%, is expected in 2017 global synthetic rubber production is about 14.957 million tons, the growth rate of about 2.7%.
