According to the data from the bulk list of business associations, the domestic vitamin market fell in different ways in September, and the prices of some products further bottomed out, among which the prices of vitamin A and vitamin C fell further, while the prices of vitamin E rose slightly.

According to the price monitoring of the business community, the price of vitamin C continued to fall in September, the factory continued to stop reporting, the traders’ prices followed the market, and the downstream purchase was insufficient. By the end of the month, the mainstream price of feed grade vitamin C was 22-25 yuan/kg.

In September, the price of vitamin A continued to decline, with an average price of 122 yuan/kg at the beginning of the month and 116 yuan/kg at the end of the month, down 4.9%. The current mainstream market quotation is 112-118 yuan/kg, while the European market quotation drops to 35-44 euros/kg. The maintenance of domestic factories has not yet resumed production, the tightening of supply has not brought about a turnaround to the market, and the falling prices have led to the lack of confidence of the industry, limited market inquiries, few deals, and mainly the completion of incoming customer orders.

In September, the price of vitamin E rose step by step, with an average price of 82.67 yuan/kg at the beginning of the month and 83.33 yuan/kg at the end of the month, up 0.8%. The current VE market quotation is 82-85 yuan/kg, and the European market quotation is 9-9.5 euros/kg. The tight supply of natural gas and electricity in Germany has led to the firm price. The domestic market said that the new Hecheng and Tianxin VE products have been stopped reporting, and the market attention has increased.

Future market forecast

According to the vitamin analyst from the Chemical Branch of the Business Cooperative, most vitamin products are still rebounding. It is expected that in October, the price of most vitamin products will fluctuate at a low level, paying close attention to market trends and changes in enterprise production.
